It had some good ideas that were *supposed* to be empowering towards women, however the delivery of these ideas were a little confusing and I wasn't exactly sure what the point was that they were trying to make. There was a bit of “bad” language but nothing too crazy, I think Kids under 13 could technically see this but idk how well they would understand it considering i’m almost an adult and didn’t really get what was going on the whole time.

The whole conflict only got resolved by Barbie and the other Barbies manipulating the Kens which I just don’t think is right.

I am all for feminism, but feminism is showing that women and men are equal and should be treated in that way, this movie made men seem to be the villains and made them seem less than women which isn’t very feminist in my opinion. I don’t really think there was a need for mattel to come and try to bring barbie back to Barbie Land because she was going to go back anyway. The message was a bit confusing and I felt like the movie was all over the place. Some of the scenes weren’t needed, like the fight seen with all the Kens, it just seemed a little bit unnecessary and goofy. Although Barbie and Ken are both white, they made the rest of the characters from different backgrounds. I liked all of the characters and the diversity shown in the movie.
